Many of you have heard me go on and on about the benefits of involvement in a trade association for assisted living providers. They come in many forms, from local provider networks to national trade associations.
For more than 20 years, I’ve been involved (sometimes very involved) in the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association. Over time, I’ve served as the chair of its legislative committee, treasurer, and president, in addition to serving on numerous other committees. I gave the association time and money but I received information, encouragement, and a network of friends and colleagues that I cherish to this day. It was a great investment!
Yes, I encourage you to get involved to help shoulder the burden that we all have as members of an essential industry that is always facing challenges and threats. It’s better together.
Here is a list of assisted living trade associations with national groups at the top followed by state groups listed alphabetically. If you see one missing, send me a message and we’ll update the list.
